Early 612 MR
After a short skirmish, the Heroes strike a deal with the bandits. They discover that the bandits sold the amulet to a "dark gnome", living not too far. The bandit leader also sell a kidnapped traveller to the party. The man is actually Raenwe, a former aquaintance of Jasmine from her years in the City of Anuire. Raenwe was looking for her to further his studies of the Sources of the Giantdowns, but got lost in the wilderness, and fell victim to bandits.
The Heroes travel to the shed of the gnome, where they learn that the little creature sold the amulet to "gray dwarves" hailing from the border with the Gorgon's lands. The Heroes travel deep below, eventually reaching a Duergar outpost. They start asking questions about the amulet, but unfortunately attract the attention of the Spider-Cavalry of the outpost.
