Anuirean Imperial House

After the death of Michael Roele, the empire shattered, and the line of Roele was broken.

Many centuries after, Agelmore Avan reforged the Sword of Roele, found the Shield of Roele, and gathered the magical rubies of the Emperor Crown. Together with a cadre of valiant nobles, he united the Anuirean realms under his rule, and he took the name of Roele.

Ashan

Angel of Healyn

He wields a finely crafted sword, and carries a bejewelled silver harp, shaped like a dragon. He seems to appear when selected members of the Alamie family are in the most desperate situations.

Dawn of the Empire - He looked over Thalion. When Thalion accepted to be returned to life by dark powers, he was heart-broken and was forced to leave.

Rise of the Wolf - He looked over Michael. Due to Michael's dealings with Azariel, Ashan abandoned him, travelling south to look over Michael's brother, Nathanael.

Eternal Winter - He looked over Niobhe, under the guise of the Rjuven bard Haeming the Skald. Their relationship deepened, and it ended with the birth of their son Maedhros.

Against the Shadow - He's the celestial patron of Regall.

Sir Cain Abysmal gathers the scions of dead heroes to claim their Birthright. they avenge the death of their fathers, and they join the rebellion figthing against the Ogre, the awnshegh that is terroryzing Tuornen.

Among their allies they can count Agelmore Avan, heir of Avanil. He's a man with a dream... to forge a new Anuirean Empire! The heroes assist Agelmore and fight with him across Anuire, gaining lands and reputation. Only two enemies remain unconquered. 

To the East, the Baron of Ghoere has declared himself King, with the military power to defend his borders. To the North, the Gorgon remains a power not to be trifled with.

Agelmore is crowned Emperor, and the Heroes that fought with him are raised to the highest ranks of nobility. Among them are Ansen Tieghan II, Sasha Gunnarson, and Thalion Alamie.

With the Empire safe, the Heroes turn their gaze to the enemies that caused so much pain to their families: the mage Talerdigh, and the awnshegh Medusa. Ansen II and Sasha lose their life in the final battle to defeat these villains.

Illuminus

Greatsword, very rare (requires attunement)

Illuminus is the ancestral sword of the Tieghan family; Traditionally, it is wielded by a Knight devoted to Healyn.

You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. When you hit an undead with it, that creature takes an extra 2d6 radiant damage.

The sword's luminous blade emits bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. The light is sunlight.

The son of a noblewoman and an incubus, Getirah was a force of evil until he was almost slain by a knight of Healyn. To save his life, his dark allies put him in a magical sleep for 500 years.

When he awoke, the kindness of those who found him changed his heart, and he became an honorable man and a valiant knight, fighting on the side of Good.

He wielded the sword Vindicator.

Thalion (also known as Michael) is the son of the awnshegh Medusa, or so he believed for most of his life. As legend has it, Medusa made a pact with the awnshegh Ruobhe Manslayer, and promised him her first son, in exchange for helping her conquer the realm of Tuornen.

The arch-mage Felonius, foreseeing this boy had the potential to re-unite the Empire of Aduria, retrieved the infant from Ruobhe's castle, and placed him with a family of farmers in nearby Alamie. He named the boy Connen. He then transferred his bloodline into Thalion (an orphan) and placed Thalion in the care of the old paladin Regall. In this way, he thought he could keep Connen safe (though he placed Thalion in great danger).

Eventually, Thalion learned the truth, and faced and killed the Medusa. He then gave his bloodline back to Connen, who decided to remain a farmer. Felonius, to make amends, donated his bloodline to Thalion. 

He married a woman called Arwen Loshie (daughter of the mercenary Garrison), and they had two children, Michael and Nathanael.

Long life - Thanks to his bloodline, Thalion only ages one year every five, though an encounter with a ghost aged him unnaturally. In the year 670, he's more than a century old, but he looks in his early fifties.

Dawn of the Empire - Heir to the Duchy of Tuornen, Thalion fought to reclaim his seat of power, and even made an attempt at becoming the Emperor of a united Anuire. In the end he decided to support Agelmore's rise to the throne, and became one of his closest friends. He also settled the score with his (presumed) mother, the awnshegh Medusa.

Rise of the Wolf - Heavily involved in the politics of the Empire of Anuire, Thalion pushes Hrothwulf and his companions to unite the Giantdowns, and forges an alliance between the Empire and this new kingdom. He also introduced his son Michael to the White Lotus Guild, and to the secret organization known as the Enlightened.

Eternal Winter - He inspires Hrotwulf's son, Sigurd, to unite all the Rjuven kingdom in one Empire. With the death of Emperor Agelmore, he's imprisoned by the new emperor, Darien, accused of high treason. He's believed to have died while in captivity.

Against the Shadow - Thalion returns to Cerilia after a long period hiding in a far away and mysterious land. He travels with the scions of powerful bloodlines, and counsels Amani, the daughter of Queen Rowena of Jentilak, when she displays the birthmark of the house of Roele.

On the Anvil of Pain - In 675 MR, he travels to Lichtenstein to offer the Anuirean Empire's support to King Flynn.
