Session 11

Summer till Winter 611 MR

Our heroes rally the people of Lemnjohen, and secure the help of two warrior clans, decided to take back the Old Fort. They achieve an important victory, and occupy the keep.

But the tribesmen are restless for another fight, and they want to push on into Bjornlagen to destroy the forces of the White Witch once and for all.

The Heroes separate, and while some remain at the Old Fort to keep the tribesmen in check, the others travel to Midjarna to ask for reinforcements. The Heroes manage to obtain a unit of the Watch, and they muster a Rjurik Levy from the local polulation.

They bring their united forces on the armed camp of Rowena Manspear, and they defeat her and her Winter Wolf. The White Witch has been cast out of the Giantdowns!

The heroes take some time to secure their winnings. As the year's end approaches, news of a clan feud in Vjethelma lead to Heroes to that province, where they start investigating the theft of a valuable amulet that could seal the peace between two warring clans.

Their search leads them to a bandit camp...

Session 10

Summer 611 MR

The Heroes enter the hobgoblin's lair, and manage to slaughter them all. Unfortunately, Dramian is killed by the hobgoblin's chieftain. Delving deeper into the lair, the Heroes encounter the mastermind behind the stirges' attacks: a blue-skinned Ogre with an unusual intelligence, apparenlty from a far-away land.

During the confrontation, the Heroes manage to seal Traig in one ofthe caverns, thanks to teir druidic magic. But Traig commands powerful magic himself, and while they're on their way to a safe place, he ambushes them, and captures Hrothwulf, while the others escape to a previously set meeting point. The ranger eventually manages to escape as well, and Traig swears he'll have his revenge.

Back in Midjarna, Sigurd is entrusted with leading the Druid Circles of the Giantdowns by Gretta Seligsdotter herself, the leader of the Emeral Spire.

But bad news are on the way. Thor, after a scouting missiong in nearby Bjorlangen, has spotted mercenary units moving in the direction of Lemnjhoen. It seems the White Witch's forces have decided to bring a final assault to the Old fort. The heroes pass through enemy lines to warn the Old Fort before it's too late, and remain to help in the upcoming battle.

After a bloody battle, the forces of the Watch are destroyed, and the Mercenaries of the White Witch conquer the Old Fort. The Heroes are forced to retreat in nearby Dhoesone.

Session 9

Spring 611 MR

Lord Tahlion pays a visit to the heroes. Apparently he survived the encounter with the Knight of Black Wings, and has been trying to find out who he really is in the last few months, without success.

He also brings dire news: the truce with Ghoere is in danger, and he needs Regall and Nathanael to go back to Tieghan and Alamie to take care of the realms while he counsels the Emperor in the capital.

The two knights bid the rest of the heroes goodbye, and leave together with Lord Thalion.

In Midjarna, the heroes are made aware of several problems with wild creatures at the border with Skansoeren. Many farmsteads are suffering losses to their herds, and the heroes decide to travel the route to some of the main homesteads to solve the matter.

On their way, they find shelter in the Vale of Weeping Widows, where they discover a lair of leucrottas, responsible for many of the troubles of the shepherds. The heroes slay the nasty creatures, and discover a valuable treasure in their lair.

They continue their journey, and reach the Render's homestead. It seems Ulf Renders is having trouble with bloodbirds, blood-sucking flying creatures. They spend the night at the farmstead, and are confronted with a flock of bloodbirds. They manage to slay all the critters, and notice the few surviving monsters flee to the southwest.

The day after, they travel to the southwest, and, after encountering a few nature's spirits, they are ambushed by a small band of hobgoblin, who apparently use the bloodbirds as pets. Eventually, the heroes reach the entrance of the hobgoblin's lair.

Session 8

Early 611 MR till Spring 611 MR

Michael, left behind during the attack of the Knight of Balck Wings, gives proper burial to the corpse or Arben, and start making his way into the wilderness.

He gets lost after a day, and finds shelter in a cave. While camping, a traveller shows up, asking to share the fire. His name is Ashan, and he owns a finely crafted harp, with which he seems to be able to tame the wild beasts of the Giantdowns.

The two make their way to the Fort at Lemnjohen, where Ashan leaves, bidding Michael farewell. There, Michael reunites with Regall. They decide to leave the day after, loading the gold on the draft horses, leaving the wagon behind. They are escorted by a few men of the Watch.

The two heroes and one man of the Watch makes it to Midjarna, after a bloody encounter with a pack of hungry wolves, where all the heroes are finally together. Once there, the party starts to get familiar with the lay of the land. They meet Hogrun, leader of the Watch, and Anneke, the regent of Midjarna.

In the next few months, the heroes settle in Midjarna, with Michael starting up a trading Guild, and Jasmine forging the first connection with the Source of the land.

Session 7

Early 611 MR

On the run from the undead, Hrothwulf guides the party to the grove of a friendly druid, Sigurd Vidarson. There, the heroes explain to Hrothwulf the reason of their arrival: they want him to unite the people of the Giantdowns, and become king!

The day after, the party makes its way to the Old Fort on the Hill in Lemjohen, where they spend a night, and hear dire news. A group of refugees is behind enemy lines in the nearby province of Bjorlangen, with no chance of escape.

The heroes decide to go to the rescue, and after fighting with the patrols of the White Witch, they manage to bring the refugees to safety into Midjarna.

Session 6

Winter 610 MR, early 611 MR

The heroes continue their exploration of the catacombs, and destroy the last undead roaming the place. They also find the burial chamber of an ancient bandit-lord, Thorvak the Reaver, and desecrate his tomb.

They retrieve the lost chalice, and seal the passage once again. Lady Andrella compliments them, and organize a small feast. During the feast, she delivers five chests full of Rjurik gold to the heroes, as was ordered to her by the Emperor. The gold will get the heroes started in the Giantdowns.

The day after, they depart, and eventually reach Hrothwulf's house in the Giantdowns, situated in a remote area at the feet of mighty mountains. There they find Hrothwulf mourning the death of his aunt Rowena.

The same night, a knight wearing the unholy symbol of the Black Wings makes his appearance, apparently to "collect a debt" from Lord Thalion. The price to pay seems to be Lord Thalion's life. The heroes defend Lord Thalion as best as they can, but when hordes of undead start surrounding the house, they all try to escape.

Lord Thalion is engulfed by dark magic (apparently the dark knight is a priest), and Arben stays behind to help him out. Unfortunately, he's no match for the dark priest, who kills him on the spot.

As the heroes run at full gallop, the fate of Lord Thalion remains uncertain.
