Little is known about the Magian's history. People know that he arrived from the east, most probably Djaper. He has come forth with little about his history, making him an enigma. The Magian did gather his ghost knights together in Djaper and came to Cerilia on a boat. There he defeated the ruler of Pipyret and absorbed his bloodline. He is allied with the Raven and the Gorgon, but the alliance seems to be one of convenience.

The Sphinx (dead)

The Sphinx has ruled its own domain for hundreds of years. Early on, it lived as a marauding beast, preying on local villagers and passing caravans. Over the last century or so, the Sphinx has chosen to expand its domain and become a true regent. A longtime menace to trade, the Sphinx craves territory and power above all else.

The Lamia (dead)

Awnshegh

Once an itinerant dancer named Keta Pechaya who traveled the Shining Coast of Khinasi, the Lamia revelled in a life of petty theft and drama. An encounter with a minor awnshegh which slew most of her troop resulted in her slaying and usurping the beast, twisting into form of the Lamia shortly afterwards. 

Later captured by the soldiers of Besaïam, the King ordered her brought before him so that he might win prestige by slaying one of the divinely maimed. The Lamia proved more than his match and has ruled Besaïam since.

The Basilisk (dead)

The Basilisk is said to have been Kassim el-Badr, son of prince Malik el-Badr. A dark bitter son to a man widely noted for his wisdom and fairness, Kassim studied sorcery and shunned his fellows. The taint of Azrai fell upon Kassim. Some say simply it is due to his bitter spiteful nature. Others say he slew his own father in a bout of rage. 

What is known is that Kassim massacred his father's courtiers and all those who did not flee from the city about the family fortress of Golden Horn. As he traveled seeking others to vent his rage on, Kassim took on full awnsheghlien form and began poisoning the very land about him.

The Spider (dead)

Goblin warlord Tal-Qazar led his army in the service of Azrai during the Battle of Deismaar. He now rules the Spiderfell.

The Kraken

The largest monster in Cerilia, the Kraken acts like nothing more than an animal, though some say it has exceptional intelligence.

The Serpent (dead)

The Serpent, while he was a mere mortal human, commanded Azrai's navy at the Battle of Mount Deismaar. After the battle he was imbued by Azrai's divine blood and quickly, using his new powers, he took control of his ancestral island home. Soon after he started to create his web of power, planning to slowly become the undisputed ruler of his area. Among his many plots he managed, using an assassin, to kill el-Arrasi.

Now he's one of the most famous and most powerful awnsheghlien in all of Cerilia, and he claims Masetian royal blood and, indeed, his island home is the last refuge for the remnants of the Masetian people, together with the hidden city of Dorotheas. With the exception of the Gorgon, he is the closest to assuming true divine power, while his followers already believe he's a god.

Formerly a high-priest of Nesirie in the hidden city of Dorotheas, Gar was corrupted by evil influences from the Shadowfell.

When Azrai approached the elves with his plans to destroy the humans, Rhuobhe eagerly signed on. Later, when the elf armies deserted the foul god upon the realization of what he stood for, Rhuobhe remained with the god of evil. Indeed he was astonished that his fellows would abandon their hatred for humans so quickly. As a result of his loyalty and hatred he was bathed in Azrai's essence and transformed into an abomination.

The Warlock (Dead)

Legend claims that this dark sorcerer is the son of Gorgon, and has the power to turn into a Shadow-wyrm. He certainly possesses vast magical powers, and seems to command the shadows themselves. He has allied with Ghuralli to stop the Brotherhood of the Wolf, and to bring retribution to the Gorgon.

Akwest Babasak (Dead)

Beholder

Akwest's lair is deep underground, but not too far from the Rocksplitter Clan's holdings. The Heroes promised him a floating crystal tower, in exchange for safe passage through its domain, but were not able to keep their oath. The aberration is now plotting revenge.

Ghuralli (Dead)

Male Awnshegh

Rumor has it, Ghuralli gained his gleaming, black metal body as the result of contact with a baatezu imprisoned somewhere in southern Lluabraight. The incident also caused his powers as a fledgling awshegh to emerge. The former orog chieftain has begun his own quest for empire in his old stomping grounds.

The Knight of Ice - Queen Arnora (590 - 666 MR)

Bloodline: Reynir, Great, 25

A General of the Army of the White Witch, his armor seems to be made of Icy Crystals, and he wields Eternal Winter, a great sword that freezes his enemies.

Behind the mask hides Princess Arnora, the daughter of the White Witch.

Hrothwulf fell in love with Arnora, and they eventually married.

Male Duergar

Dunmudden is the leader of a duergar trading outpost deep into the Underdark. The Heroes stole his treasure, killed his pet gorgon, and left him tied up in the dark tunnels of the depth.

Traig comes from an exotic and remote land, and travelled to the Giantdowns to pursues his studies in mutating existing life forms. His plans were thwarted by the Heroes, to whom he swore revenge.

A dark priest of Azariel, he's clad in an ancient, tarnished golden plate armor, and wields a sword named Vengeance. His full helm is shaped like a cherubic face.

He kept haunting the bloodlines of Heroes from the Shadow Forest in his undead form. He was destroyed by Amani once and for all in the summer of 673 MR.
