The Crown of the Oceans

The Crown of the Oceans is a captivating and magical artifact, a masterpiece of craftsmanship and enchantment. Crafted from the most exquisite materials found beneath the waves, it is a symbol of the ocean's beauty, power, and mysteries.

The base of the Crown of the Oceans is intricately sculpted coral, chosen for its vibrant, organic beauty. The coral is polished to a smooth, iridescent finish, capturing the essence of the sea's living heart. Adorning this coral base are six blue sapphires (sielsheghlien of the goddess Masela), each as deep and enchanting as the ocean itself. These sapphires are carefully set, casting a mesmerising, cool azure glow that emulates the depths of the sea.

The Crown of the Oceans is a symbol of respect for the seas and a source of inspiration for sailors, adventurers, and those who hold a deep love for the ocean. Its radiant beauty and mystical powers make it a coveted artefact in the realm of magic and legend.

Purifying Light. While holding the staff, you can use an action to expend 1 of its charges to cause the orb to glow with a purifying brilliance. Until the start of your next turn, any hostile creature that enters the orb's bright light for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there must succeed on a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or take 3d6 radiant damage. Undead creatures have disadvantage on the saving throw.

The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge from the staff, roll a d20. On a 1, the staff glows brilliant white before it turns to dust and is destroyed.

Eternal Winter (destroyed)

Frost Brand Greatsword

Eternal Winter has been the sword of the Knight of Ice (the Champion of the White Witch) for many generations. Legends says it is thanks to the sword that the next Ice Age is kept at bay. Other legends say just the opposite, that the more glory the sword earns, the nearest the age of neverending winter is.

Jade Flute

The jade flute was originally owned by Theoric, a dwarven bard. It appears as a normal flute carved from jade with silver fittings. The flute operates in a similar manner to pipes of the sewers, except that it uses subsonic vibrations to summon and control burrowing creatures. When played by a skilled dwarven musician, it summons any such creatures within one hundred miles. The summoned creatures must travel by normal means to reach the flute.

The flute player can command the summoned monsters by making a successful Musical Instrument (Flute) proficiency check. A new check is required for each command given, and if the musician fails the check or stops playing, control is lost. If the player concentrates on a specific type of creature, then only the nearest creatures of that type come to the call.

A successful proficiency check is required to play the flute without calling upon its power to summon burrowing creatures. Only dwarves can harness the magic of the jade flute.
