Heroes: Signar, Vladimir, Malik, Machteld, Niobhe, Trevan.
Year 641 - Winter
The war effort continues, with the Heroes and their armies still in the southern part of the Blood Skull Barony. With the new year, the Scarlet Baron sends the fearsom Glegg with an army of orogs and goblins to take care of the invaders. The Heroes meet the orog leader on the battlefield, where Niobhe is gravely wounded. After a few skirmishes, Machteld manages to impale Glegg through the heart, killing him and stealing the power of his blood.
Planning to officially invest the occupied provinces, Niobhe and Machteld travel to Dhoesone to ask for the help of local Temple of Haelyn. The meeting does not really go as planned, and the two women decide to refuse the terms of the high priest.
During their absence, undead troops attack their armies, forcing them in a bloody battle to keep their position. The Heroes are triumphant, but many troops are wounded and in need of rest.
