Heroes: Vladimir, Malik, Machteld, Niobhe
Year 641 MR - Spring
The Heroes return to Chur, set on bringing a final assault on Darkon and his few remaining minions. While their troops take care of the orog and goblin warriors still remaining, the Heroes infiltrate the necromancer's sanctum, an ancient dwarven burial place.
After defeating his minotaur bodyguards, they face the dark wizard, and manage to capture him alive. They make sure no more hostiles are around, and then with a small force they travel to the Barrow Woods, where Huralla commends them for their victory.
A cold spring is in full swing, when Huralla strips the necromancer of his Sources, and pass them onto Niobhe. Machteld is invested as Regent of Chur, while Vladimir begins to spread the word of Kirken in Chur, and Malik tries to make contacts in the Barrow Woods. Unfortunately both are unsuccessful in their initial efforts, but it's clear that the assimilation of the Blood Skull Barony has started in earnest.
