PCs (1st-level): Bernard, Estel, Tristan, Tuarim, Vladimir
The PCs participate to Tuarim's marriage. The Lord-Patriarch Farid is notably absent. During the ceremony, terrorists disrupt the proceedings by starting a fire in the temple in the name of the god Haelyn. The PCs help in any way they can, saving many innocents before escaping the burning temple.
The party returns to their home, Malik's palace, carrying with them two of the dead terrorists. They're both Anuireans, and one of them bears a tattoo of a winged sword. Estel recognizes it as a sign related to the One True Church of the Anuirean Empire.
Malik suggests to conduct a private investigation on the matter.
