Heroes (lvl 4): Amani, Deet, Gunnar, Hassan, Regall, Ryel
672 MR - Spring (Month of Talienir)
The party reaches Nolien, the capital of Dhoesone. There they're welcomed by Queen Niobhe, mother of Regall. Thalion, still in a comatose state, is brought to private chambers. Niobhe has a short conversation with the group, where she reassures Amani that she will lend her support to advance her cause.
The PCs have the chance to rest and explore the town. They get involved in a discussion with an Anuirean priest from the One True Church, and they can see first-hand how the faith of Haelyn has changed (for worse) in the last 20 years.
With Thalion's conditions worsening, Niobhe decides to perform a ritual to better understand his ailments. The party lends support as they see fit. When they make a connection with the Source of the land, they experience visions that leave them with several more questions.
The ritual is a success. Even though Thalion is not cured, Niobhe is able to divine a possible solution. The curse afflicting Thalion can only be undone there where it was earned in the first place. Which means the party will have to visit the Shadow Forest very soon.
