Heroes (lvl 9): Amani, Deet, Gunnar, Regall, Ryel 

673 MR - Spring

The Heroes have a secret meeting with Gaelin Thuried, guildmasrer of the Upper Anuire Traders, and direct competitor to Arien Borthien. The merchant informs them that the gates of the city are guarded by men belonging to several factions, including himself, Arien, and Lady Doireann.

Gaelin is willing to make a deal with the PCs. He will help the PC infiltrate the city, where they will kidnap Arien's daughter and deliver her to Gaelin. With her in his clutches, Gaelin will ensure the collaboration of Arien, and he will provide the PCs with enough men to attack the gates from the inside, and keep them open until their troops arrive. Gaelin will then marry Arien's daughter, in order to inherit Arien's guild in case an "accident" should happen to him during the battle inside the city.

In return for his help, the Heroes will guarantee that, once the new regime is in place, the Upper Anuire Traders will be entitled to two-thirds of all guilds in Boeruine, and Gaelin Thuried will be the High Guildmaster of the Realm.

The PCs are favourable to this plan, although it does involve sealing the fate of a young woman who is apparently innocent and unaware of these machinations. A written deal is drafted and presented to Amani to be signed and sealed.
