Heroes (lvl 14): Vladimir, Dafaelyn, Gunnar, Varri

676 MR - Spring

The Heroes arrive at the desecrated temple of Moradin, where they find the haggard and disheartened priests of the dwarven god. They do what they can to lift spirits and begin the holy work of reconsecrating the temple.

Their first attempt fails. Moradin responds with fury—ancient guardian statues awaken and attack. The Heroes endure the assault, bloodied but steadfast, and through sheer resolve they manage to appease the god. On the second attempt, the ritual succeeds. Divine light returns to the altar. With the temple restored, more dwarves rally to the cause of rebellion.

The Heroes regroup with Ruby. It is time to open the gates and let their allies into the city. To do so, they must first break the arcane seals of the chamber of the Anvil of Kings—where Tharzuk One-Eye awaits. While the Heroes confront the warlord, Ruby prepares to lead an assault on the gates, ready to activate the ancient mechanism once the seals fall.

The Heroes lead their forces into the Anvil of Kings. Tharzuk and his shamans stand ready. The battle is vicious. The orog warlord unleashes terrible power, and the Heroes are pushed to the brink of death again and again. But they refuse to give in. Through grit and valor, they strike down Tharzuk and his followers, shattering the final seals.

At the gates, Ruby fights her way to the gate under a storm of enemy blades. Though outnumbered, she holds the line long enough to activate the ancient dwarven machinery. The great gates open, and the Rjuven army pours into the city. In a tide of steel and vengeance, they crush the remaining orog resistance and liberate the Silverhead capital.

In the aftermath, Ruby is crowned Queen of the Silverhead Mountains. Before the assembled clans, she swears fealty to High-King Gunnar. The mountain halls echo once more with dwarven pride—and freedom.
