Summer 612 MR
A few days after Orden and Hugin join the Brotherhood of the Wolf, Hogrun visits the Old Fort, and asks the Heroes to once again prove their loyalty to the Giantdowns, by infiltrating the bandit Kjarhoelle tribe. It seems the tribe is planning to steal one of Michael's caravans departing from Midjarna, and then make their way to their hideout. Hogrun wants the Heroes to find out where the hideout is situated, and to discover any possible information that might give an advantage to the Watch in their fight against the bandits.
Hugin, Hrothwulf and Thor manage to get hired by the bandits in Trapper Town, while Michael, Jasmine and Orden decide to follow the caravan from a distance. The bandits take possession of the caravan with deception and intimidation, and depart from Midjarna.
The Heroes must face the many dangers of travelling through an unnaturally cold land, going through frozen rivers, icy weather, and orog ambushes.
