Heroes: Malik, Trevan, Machteld, Signar, Niobhe.

Year 640 MR - Spring

The Heroes fight through all the fey, spirits, soldiers, and assorted traps defending the Pale Tower. At the top of the tower, they finally meet the evil cleric Radosek, and his fearsome pet goat (!). The animal turns out to be a greater threat than the cleric himself, as the Heroes rapidly hold him with their spells, and then execute him.

In the inner sanctum of the tower, the Heroes find the source of the mystical ritual generating the Portal of Endless Winter. While most of the party bind their wounds, Trevan begins to study the arcane runes in order to disrupt the ritual.
