Year 641 MR - Autumn
The Heroes move their troops to Vrallik, when their scouts report movements of Rjuven troops at the border with Stordvik, led by jarl Fardolf. The bold warrior is looking for loot and land with his army. The Heroes make a deal with Fardolf, promising him the province of Angarr in exchange for his help in defeating the Scarlet Baron.
The joined armies invade Zakkhur, and assault the Baron's fortress. But their movements have been spotted by Konesh's gnoll army stationed in Valkith, who joins the Baron in repelling the invaders. The battle turns out to be a slaughter for the Rjuven, with more than 2,000 human souls lost, and the remaining 400 men in full rout.
Trevan has been captured by the enemy, and now lies in a cell in the Baron's dungeons. Unwilling to leave their companion to torture and death, the Heroes infiltrate the keep disguised as hobgoblins. They manage to create some chaos among the humanoids drunk with ale and victory, and reach the lower levels, where the priests of Torazan are preparing a dark ritual.
