671 MR - Winter (month of Keltier)
Beaten and battered, the scions barricade themselves in one of the buildings to spend the night. It looks like non more wolves are on the prowl, as the night goes by and the heroes are able to rest.
The day after, the party decide to continue the exploration of the ruined village, instead of resuming their journey north. In an abandoned tower they meet Ryzhikov the druid and his talking owl Matilda. The man tells them what he already learned about the town.
When the war against the White Witch was still ongoing, a cult of priestesses of Kriesha segregated themselves in this village, together with the necromancer Vapul. The necromancer promised them a weapon to win the war, but what he delivered was the curse of undeath.
Together with the druid, the party enters another compound to the north, where they find the necromancer summoning circle. They analyze the room for a while, but are soon forced to leave. Dozens of monstrous creatures, the same that attacked them back in Hollingholmen, come our of the gound and the walls, hungry for their blood.
The party fights to retreat, with Ryzhikov covering their escape with his druidic magic. They manage to get on their wagon, and run for their lives, leaving the cursed town behind.
